Student 1: What can you say about a professor that has had such an extraordinary impact on your student life? Dr. Max is inspirational. She has made me a better writer and student by pushing me to think deeper. She has sculpted this course into what it is. Her attention to detail for each module especially in the rubrics and how she takes the time to underline and add side notes for her students is exceptional. She truly cares about her student's education and does whatever she can to help guide us. She has a unique talent for pulling out these moments of enlightenment and insight. I had a few aha moments in this course because of her remarkable teaching skills. I can only hope that I will be able to have Dr. Max again in another course.
Student 2: I liked Dr. Frazier's approach to teaching the course. She demonstrated such conscientious support for our efforts, it was obvious she wanted us to succeed. She gave helpful instructions and elaborations on what we were required to do. She was personable and approachable and gave us excellent feedback on our work. Interactions with her were always professional and constructive. I think she did a terrific job and highly recommend her instruction.
Student 3: Dr. Max Frazier was an amazing instructor. She was quick to respond to emails, which was extremely helpful. I had many questions throughout the course, and Dr. Max made me feel like I could ask those questions without being judged and made sure I understood every module and concept. This was very important to me as a student, and I appreciated her constant encouragement and feedback.
Student 4: Max Frazier is a wonderful instructor. Her weekly announcements were extremely helpful in explaining module concepts that were unclear from module readings alone, and her breakdowns of assignment rubrics were absolutely vital to my own understanding and success in the course. She was incredibly prompt in her responses to questions posed in both discussion boards and through email, and her ability to clarify course concepts was laudable.
I came to the course with a writing background (both creative and professional) and found myself much more engaged with the creative writing components of this course than the more analytical ones. While she always spoke to the course concepts in her assignment feedback, I so appreciated the extra attention I felt that she give to my creative writing and how she picked up on my specific writing interests.
After working with Dr. Frazier, I absolutely feel more confident in my abilities as a writer and about my ideas for the stories I want to tell. From an academic standpoint (I suppose academics are important too...), I cannot imagine having a better instructor to welcome me back into the scholastic fold after being out of school for a decade.
Student 5: This professor is fantastic! She fielded all of our questions in a timely manner and provided ample and invaluable guidance concerning her expectations and the expectations for the course. Dr. Frazier really cares about her students’ success and grasp of the material. She offers great examples and allows us to find our own way in a balanced manner. She is by far one of the best professors I have ever had! Her videos are helpful as mini pep-talks and I loved those as well. Thanks, Dr. Max!

I was very nervous about going back to school, and even more nervous to have someone critique my writing. Your approach was very encouraging and put my nerves at ease.
