“Wingdream” by Meia Geddes

Wingdream: (noun) a dream involving flight, wings of any size, belonging to oneself or another. One might have a wingdream of love or of escape, of falling or the chase, and one might want to wake from a wingdream or never let it end, keeping on through day and night, a few dimensions removed from reality, a few thoughts away from the center, and time stretches out before you in acres of winged possibility and you have the whole world awaiting in an unending infinity of dream. (See: dreamlight, dreamsea, deardream, seadream, dreamheart)

Artist Statement

My work is often utopic, envisioning the beautiful possibilities of what could be. I hope that any utopic visions and projects of love I share with the world have an impact on other readers, writers, and artists in terms of the possibilities they can see in theory on the page and in reality, creating never-ending circles of literary and artistic utopia at the very least.
